A brit írónő, akinek regényei mindig újabb és újabb rejtélyekkel hozzák lázba az olvasókat, most személyesen érkezik hozzánk.

 Egy interjúban elárulta: Adam Fawley karakterét képzeletében leginkább Mark Carney-re, Kanada jelenlegi miniszterelnökére formálta.
 Maga is lelkes true crime-rajongó: ezért építi be krimijeibe a fiktív újságcikkeket, SMS-eket, emaileket és chatüzeneteket.
 Főhősének eredetileg olyan nevet szeretett volna, amely nem árulja el a karakter nemét – például Alex vagy Chris.
 Akár három hónap alatt megír egy teljes könyvet.

This autumn, the queen of crime fiction, Cara Hunter, is coming to Budapest! 
The British author, whose novels constantly surprise readers with new illusions and twists, will join us in person.

Cara Hunter’s unique world is famous for never repeating itself: each story offers new turns, fresh perspectives, and unexpected revelations. And just when you’re certain you’ve figured it out… she twists the plot three more times.

 Did you know?

 Cara Hunter has millions of readers worldwide.
 She lives in Oxford – but this autumn you can meet her in Budapest.
 She won’t only talk about her books, but also about how real-life cases inspire her, and how one holiday set her on the path to crime writing.
 While writing, she often consults an entire team of experts: police officers, detectives, doctors, and psychiatrists.
 In an interview, she revealed that Adam Fawley’s character was imagined as resembling Mark Carney, the current Prime Minister of Canada.
 She is an avid true crime fan herself – which is why she weaves fictional newspaper articles, SMS messages, emails, and chats into her novels.
 Originally, she wanted to give her protagonist a gender-neutral name – like Alex or Chris.
 She can write a full book in as little as three months.
